And Then There Were Four...

I never thought I’d say this, but circumstances are harsh and the times of troubles are upon us…

We need Tomer…

Sorry, that’s the biggest font I’m willing to use in order to say such things, I won’t elaborate.

The dynamics of the group are faltering to points that scare me, I think it was like this when Kritz left us (on one of the numerous times) before he was a-grating his way to the asylum, it’s not the person himself but the niche he fills, and in the case of Tomer, basically making the absent modron seem less absent…

Did you notice how every time he’s pulling a Kritz on use another one of us is infected with the tze-tze sleep disease? This time it was faggy, rolling his eyes, dreaming his little gothic dreams about pink soap…

Who’s next?

I, personally, had a great time, it took a while getting used to it, but I enjoyed the conclusion of the session (I think it would have been nicer if Tomer was there so I could see the green-eyed monster rears its head toward me and my 3 attacks per round, but hey, nothing is perfect…

I must say that this adventure is making me change my opinion about the whole dragon/dungeon adventure concept, boxed texts are wisely placed and the adventure is flowing while we figure out things as opposing to the usual “what the hell happened here?” and “who’s against who?” I grew to despise.

I might go even further to say that our lofty chimney cleaner is doing a great job modifying things as necessary (well, when he’s not in a coma…), I’m really looking forward for next week when we’ll all sit around the knip and gasp as another boxed text makes us miss the lich who allowed us to live for another session…

Here’s to all the little modrons, marching around Automata, making sure we’re safe…
